I am an Indian-American journalist living in India. I am currently working with The Washington Post's South Asia bureau in Delhi. Most recently, I was on a Fulbright research project studying tech work in small Indian towns.
I have previously worked at or written for the Indian Express, Wall Street Journal, CNN, Scroll.in, and Radiolab. My words have also appeared in Bloomberg Businessweek and Quartz.
I was part of a team that was nominated for the Pulitzer. I have also won grants and awards from RedInk, the Society of Publishers in Asia, the South Asian Journalism Association, and the Earth Journalism Network.
I've completed my Master's from London's School of Oriental and African Studies in media and technology. Some of my favorite clips (before the Washington Post) are below.
